MROO Workshop Series
As part of our continued partnership with MROO, Connected Canadians will be hosting 6 interactive digital literacy workshops in 2026 on Zoom to help MROO Members improve their digital literacy. These webinars will cover a wide variety of technology topics. Each workshop will encourage active participation and will include time for an active Q&A so that members’ individual questions can be answered in real time.
These interactive webinars will start at 10AM (EST) and will end at 11AM (EST) following the schedule below.

September 8th, 2026 at 10am EST: Google maps and google places
Learn how to find useful information on the places you want to go, including directions, reviews and how to ask questions using Google Maps, Google Places and more!
October 13th, 2026 at 10am EST: the importance of connection and mental health
Learn how personal connections are vital to mental health. You’ll explore how online tools can help supplement in-person connection, discover communities, stay in touch with loved ones, and even access mental health services digitally.
